Introducing Brightline and a line of sight to better days for families

COVID-19 has created a behavioral health crisis we can’t ignore, especially when it comes to our kids. It’s why we’re launching early.

We could all use a little hope right now.

Yet in all this uncertainty and chaos and pain, finding hope feels so hard. Life is far from normal, and feels really tough right now. We’re seeing our kids having a tough time, too. They’re missing their friends, their routines, the milestones they were looking forward to.

And, let’s be honest, their behavior and well-being has declined under shelter-in-place. I’ve seen it with my own three young kids. I see how prolonged isolation and the swirl of sad news is affecting them, and I’m worried about how this is going to affect all of our kids in the future.

As parents, we’re worried, anxious, and maybe grieving. As our worlds, and the broader world around us, started to fall into chaos, my team and I asked each other, what can we do right now? How can we help? Where can we find hope? How can we bring hope to families who are dealing with so much right now?

Introducing Brightline

As our founding team has come together, we’ve spent a lot of time with parents who have gone through behavioral health journeys with their children. Their stories have resonated deeply — of seeing their child struggle, the deep impact on their family, and wanting more than anything to get the right care and to see their child thrive.

Yet when they tried to get care, they faced overwhelming barriers — fragmented care, lack of coordination, over-reliance on medication, inconsistent quality, no idea if their child was progressing. We can do so much better than this. We must do so much better than this. Our kids deserve it.

We’re reintroducing ourselves as Brightline because we know that we can give parents a line of sight into the right care for their child. And that we can deliver extraordinary care when their family really needs it.

The right care, where you are

This summer, we’re introducing telehealth programs to bring extraordinary behavioral health care and support for families to right where they are — at home.

Our expert teams of licensed child and adolescent therapists and psychiatrists will provide one-on-one teletherapy sessions for kids who need treatment for anxiety, depression, disruptive behaviors, ADHD, and other common challenges like trouble with executive function.

We’ll address symptoms and behaviors that have been triggered or exacerbated by the impact of the COVID-19 crisis and subsequent lockdowns. We’ll help children to learn coping skills and resiliency, and work with them through everything they’re dealing with and feeling.

For younger kids, we’ll have sessions with parents. We’ll partner with parents to manage their tough feelings and behaviors like anxiety, tantrums, worries, fears, loneliness, and depression. We’ll track progress and move forward in their care, together.

We got you, too

We know how tough all of this is on parents. So we’re here to support them, too. We’re launching a series of clinician-led classes for parents on topics like building resiliency, dealing with stress, managing symptoms like tantrums, and talking about the tough stuff happening right now.

Parents will work with a Brightline Coach, too, to get them answers, keep track of their care, track progress, and provide support along the way.

We’re also waiving our monthly membership fee through the end of the year. That means parents will have free access to our mobile app with scheduling and billing, digital treatment exercises, parent training, care plan updates, and progress tracking at their fingertips.

We can’t wait to get started. It may be tough some days to see it, but we see a bright future ahead. And we’re with families every step of the way to get there.
